As Tash and I love a good lookout point, we hiked up to the highest peak in Brisbane: Mount Coot-tha.
It only took an hour and a half to summit after getting off the train at Milton Street.
(Maybe because it’s not a difficult hike but more likely because we are pro hikers).
Yes, I am a child who loves Snapchat stickers.
After grabbing the bus back to the city and fuelling up with a bowl of fresh pasta from Vapianos, we visited the Museum of Brisbane.
I loved the contemporary Asian art.
Iconic buildings in Hong Kong.
At 4.15pm, we headed up the clocktower and the views were pretty awesome, especially on such a beautiful day.
As we love our café time to chill and refuel, we sat in Chocolateria San Churro for a few hours accompanied by churros, strawberries and hot chocolates whilst catching up on some postcard writing, reading and travel research.
For dinner, we headed to Comuna again because we were legit obsessed with their Grilled Chicken Abundance Bowl ❤
Wednesday 2nd November
On our final day in Brisbane, we stumbled across an incredible food market!
We grabbed delicious smoothies with massive chunks of fruit on top; I grabbed a fresh, gluten-free doughnut (SO GOOD) and a Thai beef salad for lunch by the pool.
We swam and sunbathed by the free pool and Streets Beach till the early afternoon before taking a 2 hour journey over to Noosa Junction. By 5.20pm, the lovely staff at Flash Backpackers picked us up from the station. We unpacked, walked to Sunshine Beach and had a disappointing dinner at Marble Bay before heading back to the hostel to engage in some wild activities such as laundry and chilling.
See you soon for adventures around Noosa!
