I headed back to Devon on the 23rd December to spend the festive season with my family and to catch up with school friends who had also returned to the motherland.

This is just a little roundup of snaps that I took here and there in my week back home.

On Christmas Day, my family and I made wontons for lunch.

For those of you who don’t already know, these are basically dumplings filled with prawns and minced pork which are then cooked in a delicious, light broth.

This was the first Christmas that I’d spent in Paignton with my family in 5 years.

However, having been cooped up in the house for more than 24 hours, I decided to go for a walk by the sea.

It was windy af but great to get some fresh air.

For dinner, mum cooked a feast of steamed fish, scallops and broccoli, fish and beansprouts in a numbing spice broth which my brother absolutely loves.

Blue skies make everything better.

The last time I came back to England, 2 and a half years ago, Linda and I visited Dartmoor so we figured it would be fun to reminisce and go for a nice walk on the moors.

I got my first camera when I was 15 and Linda and I always used to go on day trips and take a ton of photos.

I wish I knew about blogging back then because that would have been a great way to exhibit all those great memories.

In fact, I may even do a nostalgia post because you know I love them 😉

Anyway, I’ll stop nattering on.

Here are a few of my favourite snaps from Dartmoor by my OG photographer!

Sarah was an absolute angel who drove us all up to Em’s in Rochester to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

Bangin’ tunes, fried chicken and car games with these legends made the 4 hour journey whizz by!

So happy I got to spend NYE with some of my oldest friends and favourite people.

Turns out that even if you’ve been mates for 15 years, it’s ridiculously difficult to get a photo of everyone sitting still and looking at the camera…

But I still love these snaps <3

Adios, 2017!
