At the start of the month, I headed over to Poole to celebrate my girl, Nikki, joining the 27 club!
So happy to be in the country for her birthday for the first time in 3 years!
I take present shopping very seriously.
Also, so glad to have finally met her friends that I’d heard so much about and they were absolutely lovely!
We had dinner at The Libertine and the food was delish!
I had the smoked haddock with mash, a poached egg and mussel curry. Never had this combination before but I’ll definitely be trying it out at home.
SO. DAMN. GOOD.
The next morning, we continued Nikki’s birthday weekend extravaganza with a trip to Sandbanks Beach.
Her mum, the lovely Alison, had rented out a beach hut so we spent a wonderful afternoon in the sun reading, eating ice cream and splashing around in the sea.
An excellent start to the month!
The current wall display in my room.
Sadie and I spent a morning in the gorgeous Covent Garden.
We devoured bowls of delicious porridge, sat in the sunshine, at 26 Grains.
I loved the peach porridge so much that I’ve attempted to recreate it at home. It would have been a lot better if I’d have bought Ground Cinnamon instead of Ground Coriander, though…
After brunch, we walked over to Trafalgar Square where there was a lively Hare Krishna Festival going on.
I love London so much.
In the afternoon, I met up with Til, Hannah and Sarah to check out the BP Portrait Award Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery before a proper catch-up and sunbathing sesh at St James’ Park.
Thank you Snapchat filters for making me look kinda cute.
I adore Zoella’s packaging for her new beauty range.
Josh came to visit us for the day!
My little family ❤
Hey Cliveden, you’re really pretty.
June has been a wonderful month filled with sunshine, new faces and new places!
More of this for July, please!
