NOVEMBER 2018

Catch ups in London with Tina and Hermina over delicious laksa at Laksamania.

Stunning Bohemian Rhapsody inspired neon lights in Carnaby Street.

If you haven’t seen the film already, I urge you to.

It’s fantastic and although I sometimes struggle to stay interested in films longer than two hours, I found it utterly gripping throughout.

Channelling my inner Ross Geller at Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

I found this simultaneously adorable and hilarious.

The Pitt Rivers Museum is fascinating.

One of the best steaks that I’ve ever had at Pierre Victoire and James enjoyed his duck too.

Cheers for the recommendation, Til!

Children in Need bake sale at work.

A day trip to Brighton.

ADVENTURE TIME!

Love wandering down The Lanes in Brighton.

Steve Jobs had a great time too.

Passing BMO on the way back to the train station.

And that, Stan, is how I met your mother.

IT’S SO FLUFFY I’M GONNA DIE!

Cheeky group selfie before Florence graced the stage.

When you spot Florence in the crowd right next to you!

She is pure talent and absolute magic.

If you get the chance to see her live, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

This is one of my favourite tracks from her latest album, High as Hope.

After staying round Til’s in London after the gig, I decided to make the most of my day off and decided to check out the charity shops in North London where I did a bit of online research and explored: Holloway Road, Finsbury Park (where I bought the most), Highgate and Archway.

In between all that walking and shopping, I stumbled across Dotori in Finchley Park where I had an excellent lunch of Kimchi Jiggae which is a Korean stew filled with kimchi, onions, pork and tofu.

I’d been craving one for ages and this one was a touch too spicy for me (despite having requested for it to be less spicy) but the flavours were still great! There were lots of other things on the menu that I’d like to try so I can’t wait to go back!

James and I did a bit of Christmas shopping over the weekend in Reading and had lunch at Oakford Social Club where I previously had a Chicken Katsu Burger and loved it.

Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my previous experience but we did buy some great things during the Black Friday sale, so you win some you lose some 😉

Finally, I treated James to an early Christmas gift which is great because:
1. He can show off how hot his girlfriend is to his colleagues.
2. To avoid any coffee stains on his desk.
3. To intimidate bitchez from getting any ideas.
