Why hello there, how are you doing?!

I’m not going to lie, I thought I’d already written this blog post at the beginning of this month but alas, I had not.

As I spent the first couple of days of August in Cornwall and I shared some photos here, I won’t bore you by sharing them again!

Now, let’s start by talking my love language: FOOD.

One weekend, James and I headed to Plum Valley in Chinatown to try out their dim sum for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything tasted fresh, high quality and they were really generous with the prawns in the prawn dishes too – would definitely recommend a visit.

After lunch, we went for a wander down Carnaby Street and Regents Street, dipping in and out of the shops.

A long overdue catch-up up with Hannah after work at Pot and Rice.

I hadn’t had clay pot rice since I’d been back in the UK and the portions were generous, but nothing spectacular taste-wise. Though the starter of pumpkin croquettes were great!

Our stall at the Classic Car Boot Sale.

A visit to Birmingham to celebrate Jess turning 30!

Introduced Hannah to Laksamania, one of my favourite restaurants for our pre-theatre dinner.

Our first theatre trip in a long time and it was fab!

A short and sweet post but I’ve got lots more snaps for you coming very soon for September 😉
