And two months later, she’s back!
A few snippets of life at home on New Year’s Day – I dream of the day when I have a headboard, haha!
For James’ Christmas present, I treated him to a meal at Din Tai Fung (beautiful restaurant and great service but mediocre food) and a trip to the theatre to see Back to the Future, which he loved!
James very kindly bought me tickets to see The Book of Mormon as my belated birthday present – I’d been wanting to see it since 2016 and it was well worth the wait!
It’s hilarious and the humour was even darker than I expected it to be; I’d definitely recommend it if you’re not easily offended.
An amazing meal with Hannah at Tofu Vegan in Islington – the food is bangin’, and this is coming from someone that rarely goes for the vegan option when eating out.
Get the salt and pepper tofu and thank me later 😉
Cheeky little macarons for dessert a few doors down.
Dinner at Paolina Thai Café in Kings Cross with Tash – delicious and cosy with a little open kitchen where you can see all the action.
I finished helping on the Social Media Team in mid-January and the team very kindly mocked up this hilarious Instagram post and sent me these gorgeous flowers!
Dinner at Wing Tai – average food but it was nice to have dinner in a restaurant with James, which we don’t often do.
Inspired by the new Gucci & The North Face collaboration for this display at work.
My favourite Sichuan restaurant in London so far – Ma La Sichuan with Tina.
I recently discovered Jack Edwards’s channel on YouTube and I’m obsessed.
Snappy videos, excellent book reviews/recommendations and puns galore.
James bought a sports car as he’s going through an early mid-life crisis.
What sane person would put the top down in January in the UK?
Lunch at Ichiban in Windsor – great sushi rolls, mediocre ramen.
Doing a bit of the Windsor Long Walk and yes, James did get the same coat as me because I’m his style icon.
