MARCH 2022

March started off with a tube strike so I walked in and out of work from a different direction as I had to take the overground instead of the tube – I got these cool photos though so it wasn’t all bad.

I swear every supermarket I went to in February had stopped stocking my fave GU chocolate souffles, so I was ecstatic to find that Lidl had restocked them!

Getting lost in Liverpool Street

Finally found Whitechapel Gallery to meet Anna – I thought this exhibition was OK but not really my jam.

The café is beautiful though.

My first ever spin class with Em and it happened to be on International Womens’ Day!

I really enjoyed it and have my third session next Thursday.

An amazing Influencer Event at work where we made over £1500 in a week from their generous donations.

Took Bushbaby to Sen Viet, my new fave Viet restaurant in London.

Can report that the veggie spring rolls are just as delicious as the meat ones.

Tried the tofu and mango spring rolls for dessert – they were ok but nothing spectacular, unlike their mains and starters.

Glad I got to try them though 😀

Spring has sprung!

Made it to the last day of the Traid sale where they were selling everything for £1.50 – I didn’t find anything that I wanted but always nice to just browse.

This book has been on my TBR list for a while, so I was happy to find a copy in Oxfam on Kensington High Street.

Loving the colour of these mangoes in Whole Foods.

To do: watch a film at the Electric Cinema in Portobello.

Cute charity shop finds in Portobello.

James fancied a drive after work, so we headed over to Cattle Grid in Windsor – James loves it there and I thought the ribs were ok but again, nothing spectacular.

First trip to the cinema in about 2 years!

We watched The Batman and my review is as follows: R-Patz felt too emo-teen for the role and the film was and felt very long. It just refused to end. I thought Zoe Kravitz (absolute babe) and Paul Dano were great in it though.

Bushbaby’s first time at Bao Borough.

She introduced me to White Cube gallery, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Plus, it was free!

Exploring Bermondsey.

Sally surprised me with this cute card! 😀

Alice killin’ it with another awesome display at work.

An afternoon in New Malden to visit the charity shops, read and chill in The Place and my first trip to H-Mart and it was excellent.

Finally got my hair cut at Tovi Hair Salon – I’d been struggling to find a decent hairdressers in London that wouldn’t leave me bankrupt and I think I’ve finally found THE ONE. They were fully booked online until mid-April, but I luckily managed to get myself a slot towards the end of the day when I called up.

The salon is small and run by a lovely Korean couple who are very much deserving of their 207 5-star Google reviews!

Oh, and Covid finally caught me after our trip to the Cotswolds, so I ended up spending a lot of time in bed and set up the ironing board to use as a desk/dinner table…
