Ooft, what a rollercoaster September was.
Started the month with Em’s hen do in Bournemouth!
Lots of fun at the Aqua Park in the New Forest
Red arrows on the beach
Being Em’s something blue 😉
Delicious dinner at Ojo Rojo – the food just kept coming!
I had a sour mocktail and it was divine
Finishing off the night with a boogie at 1812, which we were low-key convinced was a swingers bar…
Bridesmaids dream team!
The day after the hen do, I headed up to London to stay with Hermina and Becca for a week which was incredibly kind of them!
Absolutely spoilt by having the pool and hot tub to myself on a Saturday afternoon 😀
Dinner at Little Green in Canary Wharf: the spicy prawn crackers and salt and chilli chicken wings were delicious but the Concubine’s Chicken Noodles were pretty average.
Amazing Japanese cheesecake on sale at the local Tian Tian Market!
Liverpool Street
Amazing tofu noodles from a Vietnamese food stall in Liverpool Street
All settled into my new house – absolutely elated to have a soft headboard and the comfiest bed!
First of many rides on the Elizabeth line
Catching up with Em and Hannah over a hot bowl of spicy beef brisket noodles at Xi’an Biang Biang Noodles
After almost 2 years of being on both mine and Tina’s ever-growing London restaurant list, we finally got around to visiting the Arcade Food Hall.
The food was incredible and really exceeded our expectations. My fave was the Tempura Prawn Sando from Sushi Kamon – it was so light and packed with flavour.
A bit on the pricier side but a lovely treat!
There’s also an excellent display of fun artwork downstairs by the toilets
Popping into a couple of shops on Oxford Street
I’d been meaning to visit the Photographer’s Gallery for years and I’m glad that I finally got around to it!
Ending the day with drinks at Cha Cha Roll – the menu sounds delicious too so definitely one that I’ll aim to try out in the future
The next day, I met Anna for crepes at Le Merlin and the food was incredible!
Anna went for a galette with Toulouse sausage with emmental, onions and mustard sauce and I had r a crepe with caramelised apple, homemade salted butter caramel and cinnamon
After lunch, we went for a wander around the charity shops in the area and can confirm that the RSPCA opposite Le Merlin is an absolute gem – I bought a vintage shirt and dress there for £11!
I didn’t take any photos in the shop but here’s some other fun ones from the day
Dinner with Bushbaby and Hattie at Huong Viet!
Great spring rolls but mediocre noodle dishes – very stingy on the portion sizes. There’s lots of better Vietnamese restaurants in London.
Cookies for dessert at Humble Dough
My first time at Morley’s for a cheeky Friday night dinner – I’m pretty sure it gave me mild food poisoning but the chicken wings were great so would go again because #yolo
On my way to meet Sarah for a spot of charity shopping and Korean food in New Malden
A delicious lunch at Yami!
Gorgeous light on my way home
Rainbow rhythms
An evening stroll
The Victoria Miro Gallery had been on my ‘to visit’ list for years so I’m glad that I finally got around to visiting and it was open this evening due to a book launch – the book sounds interesting so I’ll need to get around to reading it one day!
Came across this lovely book in the gift shop too
Finally got to try Patty and Bun with Anna – it was yum!
The last day
